Fernando is a tax manager with over eight years of experience in compliance and tax advisory services and six years as senior auditor in public accounting.
He has experience in the tax area performing research of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code, Puerto Rico Tax Incentives Code, Department of Treasury’s official communications, Municipal Property Tax Revenue Act, Municipal License Tax Act, and related regulations for complex tax matters inquiries and tax planning. He has been responsible for the implementation of strategies and client understanding of major tax law changes regarding the regular income tax, alternative minimum tax, and sales and use tax.
