Carlos has over thirty-one years of experience in public accounting.
He has vast experience providing audit and assurance and advisory services to the banking, manufacturing, distribution, telecommunications and healthcare industries as well as investment companies.
Aside from his strong preparation in the financial services industry, he has extensive experience providing business advisory services, including assistance in the implementation of highly technical accounting and specialized regulatory pronouncements, financial and operational advice in the areas of business acquisitions, valuation models, operational and financial policies and procedures, design and development of business processes (specializing in compliance with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, as amended), risk assessment methodologies and validation of business interruption claims, among others.
Carlos’ outstanding preparation and experience were obtained during his over 10 years tenancy as senior manager with one of the “Big-4” international accounting firms.
In 2003, he became a partner at LLM&D PSC (LLM&D) and, on January 1, 2021, he and two other former partners of LLM&D integrated their practices into Kevane Grant Thornton’s.
