The importance of gender equality and more women in leadership positions is coming from all stakeholders. Politicians, investors, regulators, our own clients and our own people.
I know from my own personal experience that gender diversity leads to higher performance, a more inclusive culture, more balanced decisions, and I believe a business that is not gender balanced is not going to be sustainable. The responsibility to build that inclusive culture is in the hands of us as leaders.
The #MeToo movement is giving a voice and confidence to women to speak out. Every day, we need to stand up, call out and take action against unacceptable behaviours.
