General description:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting the People and Culture Director and Firm Administrator in all matters related to the Human Resources Department.  The incumbent must have the ability to work independently with highly confidential information.

Qualifications and requirements:
  • bachelor's degree in business administration, major in human resources management
  • three to five years of progressive human resources experience
  • proven experience in the following areas:  Affirmative Action Plan (reports) and EEO Compliance, Recruiting, Employee Benefits (medical plan, retirement plan, COBRA), Compliance Reports (OSHA, I-9, VETS 4212) and knowledge of employee's personnel legal compliance
  • knowledge in ADP software
  • must be proficient in Microsoft Office/Windows (specifically: MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point), Microsoft Outlook and PDF editor
  • ability to prioritize and multitask while remaining calm and sensitive to confidential/personal nature of material
  • excellent communication skills (both Spanish and English)
  • customer oriented and with problem solving abilities
  • ability to interpret instructions and information under pressure and respond accordingly with minimal supervision as appropriate
