General description:

The billings and collections assistant is a full-time employee who initiates client billings in consultation with a project manager ensuring invoices are produced accurately, timely and in accordance with the client and KGT's processes and policies. This position requires solid multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance competing priorities. Workload will include Billings and Account Receivables (AR) activities for assigned accounts with billing and cash application requirements. This position requires a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible. The billings and collections assistant will be required to effectively leverage resources for transaction processing related activities (processing invoices and collections efforts).

Qualification and requirements:

  • associate degree in combination of college and prior experience in customer services or collections
  • a minimum of two year of experience in customer service or telemarketing
  • ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects, including incipient supervisory skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish
  • excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • availability to work additional hours, as needed
